Theta Ministry is a non-denominational spiritual education ministry. "Theta brainwave" frequency is the dominant frequency during altered state experiences including trance, hypnosis, meditation and deep prayer. This is the state that allows access to the subconscious mind where real and lasting transformation takes place. Within the symbol is many of the principles of the ministry including the wavelength of energy, the top half represents the conscious mind and the bottom half represents the subconscious mind, and both together represent the principle of oneness and the duality inherent in our world. The 3 horizontal letters of the E represent the 33 vertebrae of the spine, which is the pathway for the transmutation of energy from the lower centers to the higher, as humans overcomes their lower animal nature in favor of spiritual ascension, wisdom and selflessness. Within the symbol is also the spiral, a symbol for energy, motion and creation, and the theta symbol which in the ancient world was a symbol for unchanging consciousness or awareness, another reflection of the dualistic nature of this universe. Our mission is to help our community grow spiritually by exploring both the outer world and inner world with a new perspective that comes from transformational moments.
Foundational Principles of Theta Ministry
In the Image of God
We believe that all people are imbued by their creator with divine power and it is our mission to draw that forth.
Virtue
One of the primary reasons we having this human experience is for the development of virtues. Our struggles, our setbacks, our experiences all shape our character and build virtues.
Duality
Inherent in this universe is the principle of duality. The brain has a right and left hemisphere, there is masculine and feminine energy, good and evil, light and dark, wholeness and separation all occurring simultaneously. Our mission is to see them all as part of the whole.
Non-Judgement
Judgement is what creates separation. From others, from our divine nature and from experiencing oneness with creation. We strive to maintain our discernment and eliminate our judgment, seeing the divine in all things and all people.
Non-Attachment
Buddha says "attachment is the root of all suffering". When someone gets attached to a person, a thing or an identity it creates an energetic polarity that not only repels that thing but also creates suffering at losing it. The goal is to be so whole and complete that one lacks nothing and can welcome all things into one's experience.
Presence
This moment is the only moment that we can effect the world we live in. We often miss the experiences and resources available in the now by ruminating and predicting. By utilizing the right hemisphere of the brain we help people become more present and aware, experiencing life here and now.
Reflective Universe
The universe is reflective, mirroring back to you the energy that you project. The people, things and experiences we draw forth are all a creation of our very own energy field. What is your world telling you?
Creo Creo
In Spanish the word "believe" is creer, the word "create" is crear. When both words are conjugated into the "I" tense they are both "Creo". The words for "I believe" and "I create" are the exact same! What you believe is what you create!
Frequency
Everything in the physical universe is composed of energy. Energy has a frequency. When properly utilized the brain and the body are a tool to tune into the frequency of that which you want to manifest.
Language
Language shapes reality. All language is a generalization, deletion or distortion of reality therefore can be used to cast spells to blind and limit people or break spells to set them free. Our mission is to uncover the secrets of linguists to give people power over their world.
Know Thyselves
An adaption from the inscription in the temple at Delphi, is "Know thyselves". Our journey on this earth is to remember that we are already whole and divine, an essential part of that process is uncovering and accepting all of the parts of ourselves that we have judged and rejected. All of our "parts" or ego states have resources and lessons that we can use to find our way back to wholeness.
